Early check in
We arrived early in the morning hoping to drop our bags off before heading into town. Instead we were given a room key and got to check in several hours in advance. The lady at reception was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and bright and had everything we needed. The location was great for walking into town (10 minutes) and to Spark arena (20 minutes), and felt safe.

We stayed for two nights. Apartment was what we needed, two spacious bedrooms, kitchen well equipped and large bathroom. Unfortunately the garage was full so I had to pay extra for parking but it worked out well as I don’t think I’d be able to fit my car through the garage entrance, which is extremely narrow and steep. But overall, the stay was great and we would stay there again

Upon arrival there was no parking available. Our TV did not work. There was no ac in our unit. The pull out couch looked tired. We did not get our room serviced - they said we had to stay more days (we stayed 2 nights). We selected this hotel for specific amenities and did not get them. We decided to pay a premium price and I regret it. When I brought this to the lady in the morning of our check out I did not like her tone and sassiness. I worked in hospitality for many years as a director overseeing the front desk and guest services. I was not impressed.

While the place was clean and well presented, it's looking dated with stains on the carpet, mismatched paint touchups on the walls, there was a bit of noise from both outside and inside the hotel, typically around the time people would be checking in and exploring their rooms occasionally the noise from heavy footed guests would sometimes carry through to the unit below.

I stayed at the Nesuto with a family member while another family member was at the Auckland hospital. I have stayed here before and would happily stay here again. The staff are always helpful and the accommodation is clean, tidy and functional. We had a blast trying to get the trundler bed up and called reception for help, a member arrived promptly and established there was a fault. A new bed was brought up within about 10min without any further issue. The accommodation is within a comfortable walking distance from the hospital. Parking can be a little challenging as it’s underground and tight spaces but it’s fine and this will need to be pre arranged as spaces are limited.

Building work could be improved, sliding door latch isn’t installed properly therefore the door wouldn’t completely close. Incomplete bathroom installation (exposed pipe work for bath but no bath) otherwise pretty good

In the room we had 12H, it was evident that there had been a previous flood due to water damage on bathroom door and the carpet stretched bubbled and lifted in places. The set up the two bedroom apartment was very limited for seating/dining, and the plates provided do not fit in the dishdrawer. Getting into the car park was quite precarious due to the traffic light system not fully functioning. We also only received one day (stayed 4 nights) of servicing of clean towels and tea coffee milk replenished. We got a good price online but were not expecting a place that needed this much attention
