These folks get it

The staff is absolutely amazing. Was coming into town to celebrate a partner’s birthday (which was mentioned to staff as I was trying to make room changes, coordinate deliveries, etc ahead of time) and could not believe how ‘white glove’ the collaboration and service was from them. I have no status with this hotel or its parent and they made me feel like the most important guest in the building. Complimentary cake and wine sent to the room unannounced! The room was spotless, property was in perfect shape and well designed, and the location can’t be beat. You’re right on Rainey so you’re either a walk or a short commute to anything you’re after in Austin. I’m a guest for life anytime I’m headed to ATX.

Initially thought room was nice, then noted there is red lipstick all over the chair in the room, there has been something brown and sticky spilled by the dresser and not cleaned, the shower knobs are hard to use and spin all the way around to where you can not regulate the temperature, they only provided one towel. Parking is $50 a day and not included in the reservation. You can hear doors opening and closing down the hall. I would not recommend staying here to family or friends.
