The CitizenM concept is basic. It is a comfortable hotel with few amenities, and a quirky ambience. The pool looked to be an afterthought. It is small and used a lot because of the Texas heat. Breakfast was not tasty or very good. Something about the preparation of foods like bacon and sausage in hotels. A miss. Otherwise the colored lighting etc. are cute, but after 5 minutes- meh. The lack of a simple light switch upon entering, and the shade issue closing when you leave is annoying.

The staff was fantastic throughout my entire stay, from check-in to check-out! The rooms match the photos perfectly—compact but packed with impressive technology. I really enjoyed being able to control everything easily using the iPad. While the room size is smaller than a typical hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

This is a cute boutique hotel! The only complaint I would say is the room is quite compact. Not a lot of room for two to move around in. The pool is amazing! Staff is very helpful & friendly!

Young crowd 20-35 I’d assume. Place is beautiful, area is perfect. The only con I would have to say is the room itself is ok but not the best due to gnats coming from the sink, I killed about 8 within my 2 day stay. Water from the shower leaked to the outside, not much but had to put a towel down. Would I stay again? Probably not.

This was very close to UT Austin and every activity in town. The room and hotel were unique and nicely decorated. Staff was kind and kept the room stocked with fresh towels.
