not a great time , fist they give us a room that was clean ( smell like some urinated in the closet ), they give us another room also not clean but bearable we have 2 small service dogs and clerk toll us will be no charge but they did ( will dispute the charger ) event it said in the website they are no fees for service dogs , my dog stay in cage the time we were out and about , so no reason on why the charges , parking was ok but a little odd that the parking lot attended was asking for the cash and not pay the direct to the parking lot scan QR /barcode , but did pay to QR/barcode it didn't feel right. over all Hotel was not clean , clerk and parking assistant were very sketchy

As soon as I got there the front desk lady refused to give me a room and said that because I didn’t check in before 6pm the “boss lady” canceled my reservation and that they were overbooked and that she couldn’t do anything about it. She refuse to give me her name and to call a supervisor or someone else. She said that I could go the next day to talk to someone but basically refused to give me the room for the reservation I had made over two months ago. She also said that because I didn’t do the full payment it meant no room for me and that’s another reason why I lost my reservation even tho I had called at 2pm and asked if it was okay to check in around 7 because I was coming from out of town and I was told it was okay as long as I didn’t get there before midnight. Horrible service, extremely rude, she yelled to my bridge and said that she refused to speak with him because I was the one in the reservation. She didn’t offer me an alternative or another location of that same chain. Like I said, super rude and extremely inconvenient and horrible service. Also, until I called the day of the reservation no one told me that I had to pay for the parking at least $30 a day and she was also really mean about it.

I originally booked this hotel for the pool but it was nasty and empty Ice machine didn’t work Vending machines didn’t take cash Hot water didn’t get hot Only microwave in the building didn’t heat Roaches crawling on counter No one around to help you Parking 36$ a night and really hard to get into the actual parking structure It smelled like pee The only thing this hotel has going for them if cold a/c

This property has been around for awhile. The rate was very good for downtown Austin, but there was another $50.00 a day to park in the attached parking garage.

They are under construction, place looks terrible and the pool was drained and had black water at the bottom. They had a water issue when i checked in, lady at the front desk told me to let her know if the room had any issues. Go in and the faucet, shower and toilet water does not work. Call the front desk, and let them know. Her response was there are no rooms available and no discounts and all she can do is not charge me the cancelation fee and cancel my reservation. Which it was 10pm and was in town for a bachelor party and didnt have time to book another hotel so last minute coming from out of town.

I want a refund, this hotel was below standards
This was a terrible experience. The hotel was valet only. The valet gets off at a certain time so we had to locate our car ourselves. The elevator was not in good physical condition and the carpets in the hall and room were dirt stained. There was no smoke detector, there were bad plaster repairs and cracks in the wall, there was duct tape and holes in the curtains, the windows were dirty, the phone and digital clock had black tape over the display and the phone did not work, there were roaches in the bath tub (I washed them down the drain), there was no globe over the ceiling light over our bed and there was globes over the other lights however they were full of insects that died, there were burned spots on the sofa and on the countertops, the tub drain stopper was not inside the tub but instead on the soap holder in one of the bathrooms. I asked for another room but they did not have one available. We checked out of the hotel the next day earlier than planned. This is not what I thought a LA Quinta would be like in the downtown of a major city. The front female at the front desk was ok. I was told upon checking out that I would receive the money back for the day I did not stay, however when Hotels.com called them they said that is not their hotels policy. This is outrageous be the customer expects to feel safe, clean and for the hotel to uphold the integrity of a Wyndham establishment. I do NOT recommend this hotel. I want a full refund.
