We’ve stayed at this location before and while it isn’t awful, it also could use some improvements. When checking in there was a sign saying they were short staffed and someone would be with us momentarily. I waited 20 minutes before someone came to the front desk. The room we were assigned had a broken door and a note that said lift handle. You could tell the room/door had been broken into before and was patched with a metal plate. None of the exterior key card entries work so there were rocks holding the doors open!!

Condition of the property is poor. Except the reception area, all hotel corridors smell like animal piss and smoke. The first room we got had a terrible 'feet' or 'wet dog' smell. After complaining, we had to wait 45 min for the hotel to run a defogger in the room in an attempt to take the stink out because they did not have any other room available on the first floor. That seemed to work the first night, but the stink came right back by the morning. We ended up changing rooms, just to find out, TV in the 2nd room does not work! The hotel couldn't fix it or swap it out with another one. Then, we changed rooms again! This time we were given a room that clearly was broken into before as a metal bar was screwed onto the door jamb in front of the lock to prevent another attempt! The hotel is in a really nice area walking distance to many stores at The Domain, but we would never stay at this property again.
