Room 304 the screen was cut and broke. Someone could fall thru to there death. We couldn't open the window for fear of bugs coming in. And or falling out of window.

Basic accommodations, decor is dayed. Has a pool and workout room, morning breakfast from 6 to 10:30. Complimentary coffee and tea. Our TV had weird reception. Reasonably priced.

I got to the hotel 20 minutes before check in time and the room was ready, but they wouldn't let me access it without a $25 early access fee. Now really... And I was really frazzled from a long journey. There were other people standing there experiencing the same situation. A black woman next to me said they were going to charge her $50 for early access. Something is wrong here.

Room was spacious. Water pressure in shower was horrible. The hallway carpet was very dirty and elevator floor was very dirty. Front desk clerks were very kind. The breakfast was nice and services great. The hotel needs some serious updating.

I don't normally write reviews but after my stay at Wingate, I wanted to share about a wonderful experience! We arrived late (3:30am) and our reservation had been automatically canceled. The person at the desk quickly took care of it though and got us situated. The room was clean and spacious. We were in town because our daughter had a baby. I work from home and had meetings so I asked if we could work in the breakfast area after they were done serving and they said absolutely. They were very kind and accommodating! All of the staff were polite and friendly. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting our daughter!

There was a weird smell in the room. Finally discovered an unpeeled rotten banana on top of the tv cabinet. (Very gross) Also the toilet seat had a dried bm smear. Luckily i had my own disinfectant wipes in the car (very gross) After that i just did a general wipe down just to make sure surfaces were disinfected.
