The tub is deep, so be careful. My wife’s legs are not long and she slipped getting into the tub, fell and hit her ribs and shoulder. Nothing to grab in the tub. The nonslip pad only covered 1:2 of the length of the tub. Nobody at the front desk, had to use a red phone , I called and told the guy what happened and I needed ice for my wife’s injury. He did not ask how she was but directed me to the ice. The next day there was a girl who was much more sympathetic. TV lost service every 20 minutes or so.

Recent renovations provided high level of quality and comfort without compromising the local character and appeal of Catalina. Staff and property owner very helpful and friendly. Penthouse provided a180-degree view of Avalon harbor which was unforgettable.

Enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly and the location was very convenient. Room was near the courtyard so it got a bit noisy at night, but overall great experience.

Older property under new management. Close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean but showing their age. There are multiple floors without an elevator so some folks might find it challenging. Breakfast is minimal, a few pastries, yogurt and oatmeal. It has a nice cozy courtyard with fireplace

It was wonderful, everything was clean and tidy. Very nice staff. Possibility to leave luggage after check-out. If you have a later sailing. Very atmospheric and beautiful.

Room was comfortable and clean. Did notice some flies and finger smudged the nightstand, but overall very clean. We were surprised at how quiet it was considering our room was at the front by the street. Staff was nice and accommodating. Charming courtyard with fireplace on at night, and simple breakfast snacks in the morning. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay and experience

The hotel staff were great! Very accommodating. We rented the family suite, it was perfect. We were impressed with it's size. We took our two grandkids on this trip, ages 4 and 8. We arrived early and were very happy with the option of leaving our bags in a secured area. What was very nice is the secured area had a bathroom so we were able to all change into our swim attire. The same applied to the day we checked. We were able to use the baggage room again until catching our boat at 6pm. Again, the staff and facility was great!
