1) graffiti on the mirrors 2) could not sleep at all. bed frame unstable and shakes and squeaks 3) not what the pictures depict 4) no AC in the rooms , fan squeaks, have to climb on to the bed to turn fan and light on 5) no provided soap to wash your hands in the bathroom 6) outlet covers cracked and unsafe for kids 7) tile in bathroom lifting apart from grout 8) carpet and tile separating 9) flooring in bathroom buckling 10) cabinets cracked in living room and wood cabinets in bath room splintering and falling apart 11) cracked windows or peaking tint for balcony 12) states beach bar but no beach bar

They don't offer any kind of SHORT ride from the property to the ferry terminals. It's hard to get a rental golf cart because the cart rental place monopolized the island: only 1 golf cart rental and limited 2 hours rental time. The AC unit is filthy: dirt covers the vent. This property must be owned by a Chinese or an Indian. They make lot of money but don't upgrade the place. Stove is dirty. Carpet is dirty. Windows is dirty. They also charged me RESORT fee????????? No amenities and it's not a resort . There's no swimming pool, no gym, no breakfast, no cooking amenities, no room cleaning in 2 days... That's crazy.. It's like an apartment complex converted to a hotel.

The hotel is located in a good area, similar to many others on the island. However, the room we were given was disappointing: it was old, poorly maintained, had an unpleasant smell, and did not comfortably accommodate four guests as expected. Considering the price charged, we expected a much better standard of accommodation. Unfortunately, I would not choose this hotel again for a future stay.

The property is located in a nice area, but the facility is very much rundown. Sofa bed is broken, bathroom door to patio can close, the ceiling glass is cracking, and it somehow was our fault that we could not make 2 adult and 1 child fit into a queen size bed. The staff obvious know the broken bed, but did not have intention to fix it. With $650 per night, the property is absolutely not worth it and can’t sleep for 3

Besides location there is nothing to highlight there. Absolutely unfriendly stuff. A property is so outdated. Booked a room with ocean view and we got ocean view only if we stepped outside on a balcony and leaned over the rails. Won't do it again.

The website delivered not the same as the image from their website, I went to the front deck to asked how much for per night to stay where is I am taken the room, the lady in the front deck said. With this room no ocean view and no sofa/couch, it will be around 206 per night. I got charged by the CheapTicket.com almost 500 buck per night. This hotel the room is terrible condition, no couch, no ocean view, ants everywhere in the room area, outside the room garden faucet was water leaking, the only window for the entire less than 200sf room, only 1 window and that window couldn't open at all. This was terrible cheated by being over charge. I will contact the customer service to get refund by being over charge and complain about the cheated over charge for not getting what was supposed to get. NO OCEAN VIEW, NO COUCH. THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL & TINY less then 200 sf included the bathroom area.

Rude staff. Very old property with Zero maintenance. Room door rusty and broken at the bottom wood gaps wide open. Shower no shampoo. Sofas you can’t sit on them. Coffee machine molded with old coffee bag still in it. Mattress not comfortable. Not enough pillows. One of the worst hotel experiences in a long time.

As reported in other reviews, mold is everywhere in the bathroom and hair is found all over the room including on towels. I read the other reviews prior to visit thankfully, I was prepared. Brought my own towels and a sleeping bag, which was a big save. Cleaning of the room is highly questionable, which is a big shame as the area is super nice.

This is an affordable option for Catalina Island. Dont expect 5 star though. Check-in .. make sure you get door code before you arrive. They dont neccessarily answer their phone. Office is on site but no signs point to it. Walk from ferry terminal is easy but not with luggage. Ask questions before arriving. Apartment itself was ok. Bathroom was not overly clean but acceptable. Property is dated but would stay again now that i know what to expect. Air conditioning is a window unit but it did seem to keep up ok.
