A gem inside the old town
The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Bed, pillows and quilts were comfortable and the extra fleece blanket kept me warm through the winter nights without having to turn on the heaters. Shower space was a bit small, but individual hot water tank for the room gave a steady flow of hot water. Enjoyable stay overall with the basic kitchen in my queen studio.
The check-in wasmost friendly and thorough, even with an offer to help carry bags. Efficient room with views over the rooftops of the old walled city. The room was quiet, kitchen efficiencies and comfortable. A second door between the kitchen area and the sleeping area could be closed to add more noise buffering.
Perfect for our needs. The reception staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They offered to upgrade our room to one with air conditioning for €5 which we were very grateful for.
we booked last minute due to changes in travel plans. the mattress was a bit saggy/soft for two - caused two people to kind of dip in the middle. but everything was clean and central. it is a bit like dorm living, everything is small and sparsely decorated for those people who are staying longer term and want to put their own design to it. if you don't mind that, then it's a good budget option. note there's no aircon (at least in our room), so to be comfortable at night you would want to sleep with your window open in the summer - so request a room not on the first floor!
We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased. Our studio was spacious, comfortable and had its own small kitchen. The only annoyance was the lack of dish washing detergent. Otherwise a great hotel.
Basic accommodation in a real France area. Within the city walls of Avignon near good bakery/mini market/butcher/bars and restaurants.
Good value for money, we will be back.
This is a budget hotel just inside the walls of a magnificent city. The staff are super friendly. It’s in the quiet part of the old town. Great value for money.
The bed was comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly, and it was in a decent location with regards to old Avignon. The only complaint that I have is that the shower was extremely small (2'x2'). I made it work but it was small. Oh, the Wifi was awesome! Another thing at was a bit different was the parking. Parking cost 8€ a day but you could not access your vehicle from 19:00-09:00.

Central, basic, good value studios
Student type accommodation in an older building, perfectly adequate and very central to the city centre and transport hub. The staff were very professional and helpful and it is worth paying a little bit more for comfort. The terrace is a nice bonus and breakfast is available.

Budget hotel condition
About 5 minutes from the old town centre. But 10-15 minutes walk from train station. As for the room, it is spacious with a small kitchenette that has stoves, kettle. Toilet is very small though.
The condition is Budget hotel. the room furniture is basic including the bed. rooms are not cleaned daily. U need to get new bottles of shower foam from reception

Simple 2* aparthotel with everything you need
Clean, compact and well located for the central station. Comfortable bed and fan - it was very hot when we stayed. Bathroom was a bit dated but it all worked. Nice simple little kitchenette with a big fridge. Very helpful staff team on site and nice area to sit outside.
Great location near the station. Only stayed one night - just what we needed. Initial issue with wifi sorted out promptly. Bathroom a bit on the small/cosy side...

Good hotel at the edge of the Old City
Nice environment in some renovated historical building in the Old city, but at the edge of it. Walkable distance from city center, Palais des Papes and the river. Nice restaurants nearby. I strongly recommend "L'Offset".
Room is basic. There is a small kitchen, but no coffee maker. Shower is ridiculously tiny. There is no AC and the room temperature was uncomfortably hot that night (end of June). Extremely fast wifi.
There is limited parking at the hotel or in the small streets nearby. I had to drive much farther to find a spot. But that is part of the charm of old cities.
Overall, the hotel was priced reasonably and was good for one night.

OK cheap and cheerful accomodation
Had a great time and accommodation ok( though a definite case of you get what you pay for).
Staff were really pleasant and helpful and room was as described though room cleaning service not included in the rate. It was extremely hot (unexpectedly)and rooms don't have air conditioning so if aware that temperatures are going to be high wouldn't recommend this accomodation. (fans were provided but not very effective)also quite noisy on a night but this was probably because windows needed to be left open due to extreme temps-seemed to be quite student type location. All in all acceptable if looking for a cheap and cheerful base.
Good place to stay except for bathroom facilities. The toilet was situated close up against the door and had to be used with the door open. The shower was very tiny but useable, There was no servicing at all in the three day stay including rubbish removal. Staff were friendly and the location was very good, being close to the train and also in the old town.
