There was no stay. The motel was closed. There was a sign on the door saying the motel was not in operation but no phone numbers to call. I don’t understand how Hotels.com booked a reservation at a motel that was not in operation. Also, I could not contact anyone at Hotels.com to find me another place to stay.

We have booked here several times through expedia and this time shortly after booking, the owner/manager of Hotel called to tell me he would not allow us to stay at his hotel because i have not yet changed the address on my DL. My MIL had passed, that was the reason for booking this time, now just trying to get my $$ back from Expedia. The owner of the Hotel was rude, hung up on me and basically could care less about the fact I had stayed several times prior. We we come for her service in June I will make sure he makes not a dime from family of friends.

Beware

Be very careful when booking this property. They claim to be pet friendly but as there is not a place to list pets on the app or website I had made a prepaid reservation and then told I could not have the type oo room I booked because they had no more "dog rooms". Also the pet fee was more than double what was stated on the app. Also inconsistencies re weight of dogs allowed.

I don’t write bad reviews and we travel all over the US for business. But It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. Walked in to check in, I have a service dog and the owner at the front desk, started arguing about how my dog was not a service dog. I have paperwork and a badge to show proof. Then he told us to get out of his hotel and started cussing and making a seen. So we left and then he charged us for a room and a pet fee. We didn’t stay there. I’m only letting others know what kind of service that you get at this hotel.

It was quiet, a couple of miles south of downtown Aztec. It was very new and clean. Room with one double bed was smaller than what I am used to, but just adequate. Not many guests. Breakfast was okay.
