The hotel is in a lovely position, by the Vondelpark and in the museum quarter. The shower and bed were good, but otherwise the hotel, which had just been taken over by new owners, was in a very battered state. Hopefully, this will change with the much-needed refurbishment. Breakfast is not provided and the cafes around don't open until 9am.
This is a nice wuuet simple hotel that tries to go above with little touches like assigned seating for breakfast etc. Beautiful area and surrounding town. Very friendly staff and servers etc.
This hotel was a very tired place in a terrible town. There was very little choice in restaurants in the vicinity and most businesses had closed their doors permanently. The entire town had the feeling og being abandoned. The price of the hotel is expensive considering what you get and the location. Much, much nicer towns in nearby Klotten and Cochem.
Ideal for an overnight stop on our drive back from Italy. Nicely located on the town centre sqaure with a couple of restuarants nearby and lots more by taking the ferry (€1.50) over the Rhine to Bad Breisig. Comfortable quiet room and nice breakfast.
Stayed a few nights to spectate the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race, which is about an hour away by car. Hotel St Pierre was one of the few hotels available within this distance when I booked it. Check-in was quick and easy and breakfast was inexpensive and great. Clean rooms, nice new bathrooms, but the mattresses and pillows are a bit hard and thin. Still a great experience! Most importantly, the room was quiet!
