The staff was welcoming and well-trained. Our room was spacious and clean, with an excellent view of the water. The bed was comfortable. A power strip was available to plug in devices, as well as ample outlets. It was quiet.

What a view from your room, I will be really honest, yes this place is tired BUT THAT IS ALL. You do have a really great comfortable bed, yes its really quiet , THAT is a big deal for me I have three sleep disorders. Yes there is a fridge in your room, wooden floors, THIS IS ABOUT WHAT IS ON OFFER. They have a really great chef, the staff are really friendly, this was our first trip to drive the trail its really stunning , hoping to come back in October for husbands birthday. It would also be a great place for a destination wedding, as the resturant is set up great for a wedding. If you have kids yes swimming pool yes hoops yes bikes its all here.. A lick of paint would go far but I also know we have a hard winter this year for snow. IF YOU STAY YOU WILL CERTAINLY LOVE THE VIEW. AND A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP.

The property is in a good location and affords a great view of Baddeck's lake. The room was clean and service was good. They had a restaurant and bar. If you are looking for a modern hotel with all the latest amenities - this isn't it. If you are looking for a hotel with a great view, good service and clean - this fits the bill perfectly

Fabulous stay right on the Cabot Trail. Highly recommend booking the chalet, uphill from the other lodges with a great view of the bay. Very comfortable room, old style but kept very well and clean. Very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant with a beautiful view on the bay. Excellent experience

Silver Dart Lodge was a lovely place to stay as we began our Cape Breton exploration. I paid extra for a chalet, hoping we would have a better water view. However, it seems like if you stay at one of the regular rooms, you are closer to the water. The chalet gives you easieraccess to a huge green space and you have a lovely porch. Unfortunately, the television system in the chalets is extremely old, which is a bit of a downer. Other than that great time and the staff was wonderful! We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious.

Great stay !

We were there very early in the season and the weather was cool and often foggy but the hotel was warm & welcoming with one of the few restaurants that was open at that time of year. If in the area we would definitely stay there again.

Fine. Check that restaurant on site is open as it didn’t state that at the time of booking but we found out upon check-in. Other options in the nearby town are accessible so it is no big deal.

Our room was modern and updated. Property was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Meals served on site and walking distance to other options, grocery store, coffee and specialty shops. Fantastic view of the Bras d'Or Lake. Super friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend. Excellent value for the price with several accommodation options available.
