I personly didnt like the idea of stairs in the room. It is too much to climb the stairs everytime you want to use the bathroom. There is no fridge in the room and the doors were too slim.

Hotel was like a jig saw puzzle with lots of stairways and areas. Still had construction going on. Rooms were very nice but no privacy unless you close your curtains. Room safes did not work in either of our rooms. You cannot flush toilet paper due to old pipes. Area did not feel very safe but we did not need to leave the hotel without a guide since the dining in the hotel was great. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

A lovely historic building with a warm welcome and well appointed room. Breakfast hosted by Lucia was exceptional and more than I have ever experienced before, a wonderful personal experience. I would certainly stay here again and I can recommend it to others who are in the area.

Hotel Mama Cuchara is a lovely boutique hotel with a great location. The breakfast is delicious and the team took great care of us. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back and stay again next time we are in Quito.
