Great accommodations and superb value

Everything was great

Great villa, amazing property. However, the villa is listed within walking distance from the main attraction area where all the restaurants and bars are, but it is more like a 15-20 min walk down a few hills and main roads with traffic. Also the beach club that is advertised with the infinity pool is not attached to the villa it is also a 21 min walk.

Property was clean and close to town and the beaches. The host responded quickly

We had a great week at Esh! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved the property and the pool. We made use of the sauna and cold plunge daily. We even saw monkeys while hanging out on the property. Yeh breakfast was delicious and plentiful keeping us full to start the day. Although the probably is a bit outside of town, the shuttle service is convenient to get to and from t e Esh to town.

I had a great overall stay at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and would definitely return. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. I loved the variety of restaurants, and the Guest Services team was phenomenal in helping me secure restaurant reservations throughout my stay. I stayed for my birthday, so I was disappointed that the hotel itself did not acknowledge it, especially since they knew I was traveling specifically to celebrate. Guesto Restaurant did make my birthday very special, which I truly appreciated. I also purchased a birthday package, but the balloons I selected were unavailable and had to be substituted. My biggest disappointment was Nexus, the onsite company handling transportation and excursions. I waited about two hours at the airport because they were waiting for other guests, even though I saw people who arrived after me leave before me. My excursion driver was also nearly 30 minutes late due to a communication issue regarding my pickup time. Most concerning, Nexus had no record of my prepaid private airport transportation when it was time to leave. I had to prove the booking and arrange everything again about an hour before my flight, which was extremely stressful. Overall, I loved the resort and would absolutely stay again. However, I would arrange my own transportation and excursions rather than use Nexus.
