The hotel seemed okay from the outside but once you walked around the property and got to the room you can see that it only looked clean, like it was just cleaned in the visible areas but it definitely was not deep cleaned. The decoration in the room was new but the fixtures loke the toilet and the tub had better days. The biggest issue was that the mattresses were wrapped in plastic and everytime you moved it would squeak and the whole fam would wake up. The lostong said "free breakfast" but all they had was coffee, juice and a waffle maker, but they didn't even have syrup. There was a few questionable characters around, even a homeless lady was in the premises with all her stuff laying around and the workers just ignored it. Pay the extra $30 or $40 and go somewhere else.

The staff were great. The property was as expected for the price. This isn’t a great part of Bakersfield, but was near the Crystal Palace where we were going. The hotel has fences to keep others out.

Its not the best but its okay
Service was okay, lady at front desk was super nice and helpful. Area and place isnt very family friendly. Its in an alley and there are lots of sketchy people walking around. We also heard banging at night and the doors can easily be opened with a good shove of the door. I get the price is good compared to others but i didnt expect it to be that bad. The rooms didnt look like the photos and the pool was closed on the days we went. Parking is close by though. TV is a hassle to try to get to channels. Wouldn’t recommend for a family trip.

Staff was extremely friendly but the location and surroundings was horrible. The pool was very dirty there was literal trash inside the pool. This is more of a motel a lot of hooligans in the area. Not safe for kids.

The staff was lovely, kind, and helpful. The room had been recently refurbished but there was a very odd smell, and there was still some work to be done to update it. It would have been exactly how I expected for the cost except the breakfast was not hot and it consisted of granola bars, oatmeal packets, and coffee. It is not what we have come to expect from a days inn. There is an IHOP and Dennys around the corner. I felt safe with my kids, but I was aware of several homeless individuals in the area.

Cockroaches in the room. I had to dispose of several small ones. The so-called breakfast consisted of only packets of oatmeal, hot water, weak coffee, and orange juice. The area is not very safe—lots of vagrants about. But at least the motel has a metal fence surrounding the parking lot, and the gate is locked at 11 PM.
