The hotel is well situated in the centre of Bakewell, only stayed for one night in a classic room (the basic) which was large, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in hotel restaurant the evening menu was a bit limited for me (I’m a fussy eater) but the food was good, breakfast was excellent good variety on continental and freshly cooked hot breakfast and the dining room staff were friendly and helpful. All together I have no complaints

Lovely hotel. We were in the extra building as we wanted low floor. We arrived and were lucky to get a parking space. Easy to get the permit from reception. Breakfast gorgeous. Only downside for me was that the pillows were too hard and no option of a soft fluffy pillow

Lovely comfortable hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of space with three dining areas to choose from. Informal bar to a more formal dining room. Breakfasts were good, served hot and freshly cooked. We were across the road in an annexe but this really didn't matter at all.

Lovely Hotel, in a lovely town, but we were across the road in a tiny, ground floor room with no air-con. The staff are great, the Hotel itself is lovely, breakfast is great, Bakewell is great. But the lion's share of £200 for our room was over the top

The Rutland arms is dead centre in the midfle of Bakewell, great views of the town and easy to walk from. Great for people watching as its pretty busy. The staff were approachable and efficient, especially the waiting staff. The whole experience was lovely, as was the room. Will be definitely visiting again.
