The staff is plesant and accommodating. The place is old and has shown it's better days long ago. Stairways are cluttered, uneven, and qitie frankly unsafe. Almost no water pressure in the shower, but it is hot water. Pool was not filled and unuseable. Don't believe the photos on of this place, it looks nothing like the photos. Also seemed to be some confusion about the price. We booked on an online site and prepaid. Upon checkout my fiancèe was asked for an additional 585php. Their claim was we were put into the wrong room and it was more expensive. I told them not our fault and no further money would be given. Of course they didn't argue with this American man, just said the online booking listing was incorrect. Once again i said that is not our fault, and the nice girl at the check in desk agreed. For the next two days we recieved email for the additional 585php. We blocked the mail
You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. For us this was just a one night stop because our favored hotel was fully booked.
When I check-in for my 2 rooms 2 nights reservation, the receptionist said I have only one room 1 nights. After spending hours arguing with the receptionist and the supervisor and show them the charges from Expedia that it was already fully paid, they said that they found the right confirmation number for my reservation. There was Incomplete toiletries and the things that should be inside the room were missing as what was stated on the list of items written on a piece of paper found inside the room with a price on it. At one point, there was no water. We stayed for two nights for two rooms. On our second day, One of the room was cleaned and replaced the beddings but the other room was not clean and trash was not even remove. Kettle for coffee in one room but not the other room. Carpet was so filthy. Customer service was so bad. I suggest for a proper training for all employee. Never again will I go to this hotel/suite or suggest to anyone. Overall, bad customer service and filthy rooms.
Need a lot of maintenance. In our room the shower didn’t work ( knob totally broken) staff at night try to look for a room with a working shower but the he next room also a big leak. The final solution was to be transfer to an other room the next day.

Nice hotel w/in nice neighborhood. Moto-Tricycle taxis about 2-3 blocks walk to neighborhood entry. Hotel short on some basic amenities/service. Rooms comparable, even relaxing.
Make sure if you want to use the pool that its in service ahead of time. If you booked through Agoda.com or Hotels.com don't expect a meal. Staff went above and beyond though just need to ask. Also hidden and even some locals cant find it.
the photo looks spectacular but the reality it's quite disappointing. TV doesn't work due to no aerial installed in the property. Toilet and shower are not to hotel standard -no ventilation, not tiled instead painted concrete wall. electrical circuit are not into safety standard.
the staff are very friendly and very approachable yet the room we are expecting that we seen on expedia is not the room we get.

The staff were helpful and accommodating at all times. The room was quite small, and the location is not really ideal if you want to eat out. The room has no extra sockets for charging. They only have 2 for the tv and the aircon. The lamp was not working properly.
Me and my fiance enjoyed our stay at the Grand Peninsula Suites. The staff was very helpful and extremely courteous and offered excellent service.
The hotel offers free breakfast with a cute and pleasant dining area while also sporting a quaint little pool for guests. The rooms were nice and met our needs sufficiently.
