We really enjoyed our stay! The bed was comfy and the hot choc and coffee was amazing! A couple things were run down and old but it was a good space and great access to near the gate for sovereign hill and the staff were so friendly and helpful

The property was a great location . Bed super comfy and hot water strong and hot . Don’t like weeds everywhere and uneven pathways - room quite clean but dusty with dried spills under bedside table

A quiet area, bird life beautiful staff great, views wonderful, gorgeous sunset, and although the lovely lady that greeted us said i would love the sunrise and she went out of her way to give us a room with a view of the sunset it was a cloudy day but we did see a little sneak view of some of the sunrise so grateful for the opportunity. we would happily stay there again.

Sovereign Hill Hotel is super convenient when visiting Sovereign Hill. Only a few minutes from Ballarat town centre, everything is close. There is on site parking, and rooms are a short walk from the car. Our family room had been clearly refurbished for the buildings age. Everything was clean and the room had plenty of space. Beds could do with updating, but still comfortable. Great affordable accommodation.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 2 teenagers. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our King size bed was comfortable but there were bunks for our kids that weren’t so comfortable, maybe I should have asked for 2 single beds. Found the location great with access to Sovereign hill via a separate entrance, so can come and go during the day you visit Sovereign Hill. There is an option to book a Continental breakfast which we had every morning that we were very impressed with. We stayed in the colonial room .
