Last minute needed one night to stay in Fell's Point within walking distance of friends' apt and tried this. So we chose it for the location. I was told it can be loud when there is activity in the bars/restaurants nearby but this was a low-key weeknight and we did not notice much noise from the street.
Paid for a room with King bed. Key lit up green as if it worked but the door would not open, as if it were bolted from the inside. Hotel clerk tried to open and she was unable to. Gave us another room with a full-size bed instead. I have not asked for an adjustment to the bill as quite frankly I don't want to deal with it.
The lobby is somewhat quaint but the hallways and room were grim and dingy. The chairs were old and frayed. The wood tables were worn and scratched up. Possibly because there is some reno going on the room smelled like glue. The walls are thin (can hear things in other rooms) and the floor creaked. The wall-to-wall carpet felt like it had no padding underneath it. The room was not cozy or nice, looked nothing like the photos on Expedia. To top it off, there was NO HOT WATER. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and will never go back. Just grateful it was a one night mistake only.
In the heart of Fell's Point with walkable shops and restaurants. Beautiful historic building. The only inconvenience was parking was several blocks away
We have stayed here frequently. It's an interesting, somewhat quirky hotel right in the heart of Fells Point, so restaurants and bars are literally within steps of the hotel. That's the convenience. The hotel is comfortable and very affordable, too. It's not luxurious, but a nice comfortable, convenient, affordable place. And the parking down the street is affordable, too, particularly for downtown Bmore.
Hot water wasn’t working, room wasn’t completely clean, and we had people doing work in the hallways outside of our room starting at 7:30 AM. We paid for late checkout so we could sleep in but they were way too loud.
Noisy since the room’s windows are facing a street full of bars. Wish they mentioned that at Check-In so we could have a choice to change rooms.

the male receptionist gave us a room that had a queen size bed standing against a wall! Would not be possible to get in and out of bed without crawling over the other person. The view from the room was a wall. After complaint, we got a nice room with a view, but no towels! The woman in the reception was very helpful.
We had an amazing stay. I am a paranormal investigator. We requested a particular room that is known for paranormal activity and the hotel was able to fill our request and we were happy to see it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and our room was clean and just what we needed.
As always a great location and great staff that really make this hotel worth coming back.

Property is charming and unique but the walls of the building are so thin that I could hear every word said in the room next to me. I was kept awake all night.
