It was the worst hotel experience of my 66 year lifetime. The property is undergoing a complete renovation, therefore leaving debris all over the place. The staff was on sight, not professional with their attire as well as effective communication skills. I will never ever stay at the Sonesta near BWI. I was scheduled to stay 2 nights and due to my frustrations with overall distractions I left after the first night.

The hotel is being renovated. I arrived at 10:00 to find the front door “closed for renovations”. There was a sign that pointed guests to a side entrance for check in. The door was locked so I had to bang on the door for someone to let me in. It was definitely not inviting and actually pretty creepy. I won’t stay at that hotel again.

The property was under construction. Wasn’t advised before booking. Loud noises at 9am on the weekend were inconvenient. However, the room and staff were nice. Very accommodating. The hotel was spacious. Many restaurants to choose from!

Had a lot of roaches. Shake your clothes off to make sure you don’t take the roaches home. My daughter never saw a roach before so I had to explain to her what there are. Roaches was in the bed.

I don't think I was able to experience the fullness of this property as I want to be fair and I feel this property has great potential. My 1st visit and timing wasn't on our side. While I'll give the staff a -5-; everyone was very nice, polite & accommodating and they took into consideration our room placement so that we weren't bothered by the renovation disturbance during our stay. I look forward to returning to see what the renovations will bring. Eating places are nearby and conveniently located near the BW Parkway. So the only reason for the -4-, was because of the renovation, otherwise, the property and amenities gets a -5-. Thank you all for making us feel at home.
