We called earlier than check in and requested a room away from the elevator,closer to exit door, because we had our dog with us. Our room was two doors down from the elevator- in the middle of the floor- with a long walk to exit. (We use stairwells instead of putting dog in elevator out of consideration for those who are afraid of dogs) There were kids above us and were making noise ( jumping off beds?) until we finally called to complain @1030p the first night. The second night,noise was stopped earlier. Hotel location was convenient.

Nice hotel

The hotel is nice, the staff was nice. They have free breakfast and the hotel is either me or updated, but our room was very clean. The area around us was nice but restaurants close by 10 or 11. Other than that, so was good.

Exceptional service

The staff at this Hampton Inn & Suites were by far the nicest, most professional team that I have ever seen at a hotel. From the front desk staff to the kitchen staff, even to the call center reservation representative, they all provided such exceptional service. It was a pleasure staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia South Ft. Meade Area, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Not the worst and not the best

The hotel room was clean but fridge was broken and faucet for shower was broken and would not allow full water pressure. The bed was comfortable and clean however it felt like I was tilting back towards the headboard. This is not the first Hilton Hotel we have stayed in. The last one was in Virginia and it was way worse on every level. I will use this Hotel again even though it was not 100%
