Good Location, Average Stay

The hotel was an ok option for comparing price points around the inner harbor area. The staff was helpful and nice. The hotel itself seems like it's really showing wear and tear. Seems like they have gotten behind in their preventative maintenance. Things like the dryer not getting hot, the cord on the iron being broken, wallpaper peeling on the walls, and dirty bathroom grout added up to a place that needs a good run through.

Overall the hotel is clean but outdated. Our room had broken shower trim and cracked sink. The location is great, staff friendly but could use a refresh.

Good location

The stay was nice, and the hotel location was perfect. My fiancé and I stayed overnight to visit the Wine Village. We had a good time. We didn’t spend too much time in the room. The front desk staff, Rose, was really nice and sweet.

It was a nice stay and I would go back again. The room was nice, the tv was very big, the bathroom was nice, the view from my window wasn’t good because I was towards the back of the hotel so I couldn’t see the harbor. But overall it was a nice stay there.

Absolute Dissapointment

We booked a room for 4 people thru hotels.com. When we checked in, the front desk confirmed we had 4 people but gave us a room with a king size bed, not pull out, cot, etc. It took over 40 minutes for staff to deliver a roll away bed to the room which only slept 1 additional kid, leaving our youngest to sleep on the chair/ ottoman. We have 2 children, 9 and 11 and specifically booked this hotel to use the pool, which said it was open from May to Oct (and the front desk gave us pool hours at check in). As of May 18th, the outdoor pool was not open, despite the 90 degree temps all weekend. The hotel was noisy, late into the night on Friday night (possibly from the open atrium to the 6th floor). The bathroom had holes in the wall where the towel bar once was, a cracked toilet, and mold on the ceiling. We were out of the room from 8am to 4pm and upon returning to get ready for dinner, room service had still not made it to our room. The only 4 star experience during our stay was the view of the inner harbor from our room.

Door battery was dead when we got there so had to wait for someone to change battery. Swimming pool only open from Memorial Day throughout the summer. Back of toilet leaked. Someone’s leftovers were in the refrigerator. Cost to park is crazy.

Great location but beware ...

Tried to get late night dinner after show. Waiter said kitchen still open. Sat at table for 20-25 minutes with no service. Asked bartender what's up, he said kitchen had been closed for a long time. Wasted a half hour, went to sleep no dinner. Room was hot and humid, AC controller not responsive, though cool air started flowing in the middle of the night. No drinking water in room. No glasses for beverages. Worst part: the bedside alarm went off at 6 am. Had planned to sleep til 9. Skipped breakfast we already paid for, went home. Also beware parking garage. Online said $25 a night for guests. But I was charged $79. Tired all day Saturday, trying to get reimbursed. Have not heard back from Hyatt.
