The hotel itself is beautiful inside and the rooms are nice. However, it seems a bit disorganized. Id prepaid for parking but for some reason wasnt on the valet parking list downstairs so we had to pay again. Then valet wouldnt accept the ticket the front desk gave us so we could get a refund, and we had to have front desk print out another list of guests with paid parking and WE had to take it back downstairs ourselves to the valet staff. This burden shouldnt have been placed on us. Also when we arrived at about 5:15pm (check in was at 4) our room still wasnt ready. Because the check in and parking process was chaotic, we were running late for our concert and had to dine at b&o restaurant attached to the hotel. The service was terrible, when we got there there were no waiters on the floor, no one behind bar, and no one at the host station. Our server had a bad attitude, was slow, and the food wasnt good and was cold. When we checked out of the hotel the next day, the front desk wouldnt give me a final receipt, said i had to get it through the company i booked through. Not sure if id stay there again.

I booked a King Spa room with jacuzzi tub. When in my room the jets on the tub stopped working. I notified the front desk. They had a tech come check and he confirmed the jets were broken and advised the front desk to give us another room. Front desk obliged and also compensated me with free breakfast in the morning for the inconvenience, which was a nice gesture. When I arrived at the new room, there was a very foul odor coming from inside the room. I noticed the front desk again, which they sent a member of housekeeping to check on my claim. The member of housekeeping confirmed that they too can smell the foul odor. Housekeeping adised the front desk that they too can smell the foul odor and they recommended I change rooms again. I was upgraded this time. When I my new suite, one of the lights control flicker and the carpet leading to the bathroom had carpet nails protruding slightly enough for you to feel them at the bottom of your foot if you step wrong. Management was notified of everything the next day. Management apologized, and advised me to contact Hotels.com, make them aware and they will refund me 50 percent of my stay amount.

The building is beautiful, the hotel room just ok. My big complaint was the lack of service. We called asking for towels, they said they would bring some in 2 hours, never did. They apparently had a towel shortage, but we didn’t even have enough for one towel/guest.

While this hotel operates in a grand old building with a marble lobby, the condition is run down, offering saggy mattress, old showers and no dining features. The restaurant on the premises is just not good. The website is a bit deceiving with lots of photos of the harbor but forget views from this place.

Our reservation was for some reason canceled and the person at the desk tried to get everything correct. He apologized so much and got everything fixed. He gave us an upgrade for the issue. He was amazing. Everyone else that we dealt with were just great as well. The hotel was beautiful and we will stay there again whenever we go back! I’m sorry I don’t remember the guy that originally helped us! He should get an award or something for how much he worked on handling our problem. He went above and beyond. He truly did.

Service isn’t friendly and very dated.
Check-in clerk was extremely rude! Hotel wasn’t clean, my room didn’t have any towels. I went down to ask the same rude clerk at check in about the towels and she gave me the biggest attitude. Felt like i was bugging her. Room was extremely dirty and very dated.
