Decent stay despite a few "inconvenience"

Thanks to the Hotels.com recent review, due to the renovation, I lowered the "expectation bias" quite a bit. As I personally did not mind climbing up to the 4th floor, international travelers who have large suitcase could be a different story. To me, 24/7 shuttle bus service to BWI airport plus free breakfast did offset the negative; however, yes, this facility desperately need an urgent renovation -- especially an awkward room entry (i.e. flimsy card scan and knob upward instead of "usual" down). Thankfully, the room was still okay with small refrigerator and microwave to enjoy meal there. Bed was decent but a bit too soft for me. Still, it was quiet enough for me to have a good night sleep. We shall see how the renovation goes in the near future as this location is convenient and lots of potential. Thank you very much.

Arrived to be tole that the elevator is down for "upgrades" and has been since January. No rooms left anywhere except on the 5th floor (its a 5 story hotel btw) and my elderly parents who do not do stairs well would now have to climb 5 flights of stairs to be able to sleep. They make zero effort to inform anyone booking until your there to check in. Absolutely horrible.
