The staff are very courteous and friendly. The hotel has a perfect location, close to the bay and next to the Aquarium. The rooms are spacious, but they should be renovated, especially the bathrooms, in ours the bathtub faucet was damaged. The room had a small refrigerator and TV. The beds are comfortable. I found the price a bit high, but it was New Year's Eve.

The great: The location is excellent. One can get to everything you need walking. Front desk super friendly. The disappointments: my reserved room type was not available. No valet. Baltimore crime is no joke, I was not excited about parking my car at 10pm in the adjacent surface lot. The hotel has not been updated In a very long time. Besides the decor, the baseboards in the room were breaking away from the drywall and carpet was fraying. The worst: when I stepped onto the balcony, I realized the floor was rotted out. My 14 year old was clueless when he stepped out before me and didn’t realize the danger. The only thing keeping us from falling through was the rubber surface. We checked in late after a long day of travel and I wasn’t feeling a room change so I let them know in the morning.

Location, Location, Location! We were there to see the NYE Fireworks, and it was perfect for that! But beyond that Pier 5 is with in walking distance of Little Italy and literally dozens of excellent restaurants. 2 right in the hotel. Safe neighborhood.

There were additional “incidental” charges that I had to sign for on arrival. An additional $50 added on to the original room charge. Staff, location, facility all nice. But the additional charge on arrival seemed like a scam.

Very nice, modern hotel, perfectly located in the inner harbor near restaurants. The room was comfortable and spacious, the bed was great. There is convenient parking right next to the hotel. The neighborhood is walkable with many restaurants nearby, especially if you like steakhouses!
