There was no complaint on the cleanliness and service at the breakfast. I had a challenging time during check in. Even though I presented proof of reservation, she kept me waiting until her system communicated with Expedia. I spend almost two hrs trying to connect with Expedia customer service to get the same answer about my reservation confirmation and need to talk to the hotel. I was frustrated.

The doors slam so loud it shakes the room even if the door is a couple of rooms away. They squeezed guests into adjoining units even though it wasn't full and that made the sound noises all the worse. The room walls are paper thin so I could hear the people next door. I found a bug in the room and brought it to the front desk so that it could be noted and receive possible action. The front desk clerk at my exit was rude and dismissive.

Parking was VERY limited and parts of the parking lot were sketchy. The lady checking us in was very friendly but the woman in the morning was not. The breakfast attendants were great and breakfast had many offerings from breads to yogurts to juices and eggs.

Room was clean and recently remodeled. Unfortunately the room initially smelled like marijuana. The breafast was good but not many options and it ran out quickly. Staff tried to keep up and was courteous and helpful. One elevator didn't work later in the evening. We went ino DC at night came back late and the inner doors were locked. There is not clear signage that you need to scan your card. Evening clerk was so engrossed in her phone that she didn't notice we were stuck between the doors and it was full of marijuana smoke. We eventualky found the scan box and got in.
