So a group of friends and I stayed here overnight to visit the National Aquarium the following day. Hotel is overall OK, nothing exceptional. Here are my quick thoughts on why: - They have a very nice heated indoor pool and spa which we used, and the chlorine level was so HIGH we simply couldn't be in it for more than a half hour. My friend's shorts turned from blue to brown, and many of us this week have skin peeling from how badly it was balanced. - Limited in-hotel dining choices. We stayed into a Saturday and were told they had a restaurant open for breakfast buffet, however upon arrival to it they only had four extremely pricey food options, none of which were anything worth close to being worth the money. - The floor was loud. We were actually on the pool floor, and throughout the night kept hearing commotion in the hallway and loud talking. it wasn't the best rest we could have had.

Ok the staff and the communication between the staff is terrible. I called for two weeks making sure everything in place confirming thing like pay, parking, pool, breakfast and etc… I was told on the phone that I can pay in cash when I got there I couldn’t and the manager going to stay I thought we all on the same page than I was told I would get a discount on valet parking which they did not honor etc…. I was so upset for the lack of communication among the staff and manager it wasn’t acceptable. Will I stay here again NOT ON MY DIME I WILL NOT

Availability of staff/service was not a good as expected. I tried to reach the hotel by phone 3 or 4 times leading up to our stay to request a late check out. Each time I was on hold for more than 20 minutes. When I finally got through to a person from "reservations" I was told I needed to reach the front desk. After multiple additional tries they NEVER answered the phone. When I checked in I asked and was told they could not tell me until the next morning and that I needed to call the front desk. When I tried that the next morning, again they NEVER answered the phone. In addition, I sent the request through the hotels.com site and have yet to receive an answer.
