The property iteself was nice, however very disappointed that we weren't able to have access to the restaurant on both nights, no availability for room service,also pool was closed on the Friday night. No kettle in the suite and hardly any utensils to cook food with, which we were not planning on cooking but had to after the restaurant was closed. The location and the quietness was lovely.
central location with one of the best restaurants we've dined at north of Cairns. Our room was very comfortable and clean and staff friendly and very helpful. They even allowed us to to leave our car in their carpark and provided transport to and from the ferry when we went to Thursday Island for a few days.
Severely disappointed. Avoid if possible. Broken air conditioning in room. No maintenance on property gardens or exterior of buildings. Restaurant not available for guests due to external event (not notified at booking or before arrival).
