While a bit farther from downtown, it is still walkable (1.3 miles). Also the Roam bus stop is 30 seconds from the hotel. Having the complementary bus pass was great. Staff were helpful. The Keg restaurant is expensive but has great food and wine, and the servers are all delightful. One of the most beautiful mountains is right behind the hotel but sadly there isn't any common outdoor area at the hotel to sit and enjoy the view. Room cleaning left a little to be desired. We did not realize that the pool shown on the web site is actually a giant hot tub. This would have been fine but the chlorine is so strong we couldn't use it. Our eyes were burning after just popping in to see it upon arrival.

Do not recommend for people with asthma. The fireplace in the lobby makes the upper floors very smoky and hot. No AC to cool down the rooms. Did not sleep all night due to wood smoke. The staff was understanding and let me pull out of the remaining of my stay.

Beautiful facility convenient walk to downtown Banff. The Keg was conveniently on site. It would be nice to have an onsite coffee shop or cafe instead of ha ing to go down the street to find one. Very nice stay overall.

Fast and easy checkin. All staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious suite. Awful furnitture and linens. We had a suite with a fireplace, but had no desire to sit on the couch or chairs near it. Bed was relatively soft with big puffy, unyielding pilllows that made for ackward neck angles.

It’s a lovely spot and very convenient but it’s very loud. The doors don’t close without slamming them and it made for a very restless sleep.
