The hotel is beautiful but has some age on it and it is obvious. There is no complimentary breakfast or usb ports for charging phones which seems a little outdated. There is also a huge parking lot behind the hotel which might be cheaper than what the hotel charges for underground parking. Would have been nice to have the option but wasn't informed when checking in. Overall expensive for what you get.

We went while there was construction which caused noise around 8am and the elevators weren’t functioning for some of the time. The room was nice, the light in our room did flicker however but overall it was in good condition. The pool room was awesome and very relaxing.

BPL is the perfect hotel in Banff. It’s the best location, friendly staff, excellent rooms and amenities. The renovations are going to make it even better .

This stay was okay. Definitely not what we thought we were getting. It is much older than the pictures online look. There was a jacuzzi tub in our room. We filled it up and ran the jets prior to getting in and there was grit and grime floating everywhere. Clearly we choose not to use the tub. Which is unfortunate because it was the reason we chose this hotel. The elevator has exposed wires and the lighting in taped to the wall. While this was ‘nice enough’ it wasn’t worth the cost. We did enjoy the pool area with the eucalyptus steam room.

Great place !
Was very hesitant to stay due to the construction. But they were able to give us room on the opposite side and it was very nice and quiet. Room was new and renovated and vew was nice as well. The stuff was very patient as i am super annoying customer and had lots of requests . They were very helpful and professional.

We stayed 3 nights and were placed on the side where renovations were taking place. There was no way we would have been able to sleep in because we were woken up by 8am from all the construction noise! Parking wasn’t free ($14/$7 per night) and you’re not even guaranteed a parking spot! It’s a first come first serve basis, which fills up fast. The “workout area” is pretty much the same size as a closet! However, the pool was nice and warm. Only convenience was that the hotel was a 5 minute walk to Banff Ave. I would consider staying there again once renovations are complete… it is a nice place, it just really needs the upgrade. Staff were great; checking in and out was a breeze.
