The hotel is located in the center of Banff town. Everything is so convenient, including shopping, dining, transportation, and parking. The hotel even provides a local bus ticket. That is very valuable to visit around the town.

Pros: Staff was great, room was comfortable, blackout blind worked, and the location is excellent Cons: The hotel is extremely dated, the spa/fitness area needs an update, steam room smelled poorly, parking area doesn't accommodate all guests and street parking is pay only, the A/C fan is either on full-time or off full-time. Overall, the stay was fine. No one in our family slept well, but I can't say for sure that's due to the hotel..

Booked a standard king, but apparently that means absolutely zero view, this room faces an atrium of old dilapidated furniture and a storage space for banquet chairs. We did go back to the desk and asked for a different room, thankfully moved but to a room with super limited view and the shower curtain had holes, bathroom vent was caked in dust and fluff, kettle was crusted with calcium build up and not useable. The location is good, as it is very close to the main avenue. Restaurant on site is not open for all hours and saw no clear signage of the hours. Tried to do brunch on Saturday at 11:30 and it was not open. Hot tubs have low powered jets, sauna and steam were ok, but run down. All in all a very average property with high rates. But close to town, which was the nicest part about it.
