We had a wonderful experience at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The rooms were clean, spacious and well laid out. We loved the wood burning fireplace at the end of our day. There was lots of firewood available close to our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend going to their restaurant for breakfast. The food and service were amazing and prices less expensive than if we would have gone into Banff. Great experience overall and we will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Best kept secret

Very spacious secluded peaceful retreat fine construction luxury cabin in mountains yet 3 min to downtown Banff. Luxurious hot tub and views, excellent dinner at the Prow restaurant on site. Big fluffy bed great night sleep.

I had picked to pay for my reservation when I arrived. After I had arrived, I found out they’re already charged it to my credit card. The fireplace in the room was terrible. It did not work properly. The wood was very wet and the ventilation with poor in our room filled with smoke from the fireplace.

Love the amenities they have in the rooms. The shampoo and conditioners are great. The coffee in the room is great too. Only issue was the fireplace wasn’t working properly, but other than that it was great.
