No upgrade for Gold/VIP, despite higher end rooms available. Apparently only limited upgrades to certain rooms. Expensive with somewhat effete staff. Try Peaks, always upgrade, always provide a free bottle of wine for Gold members. Staff warm and friendly.

Perfectly Located
Service from those working reception was lack luster - the woman who checked us in seemed like she didn’t know how to smile. However, once in our room, we called for extra housecoats and they were brought within seconds. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were loud. I know this sounds silly but maybe they were over-starched because it sounded like we were rustling through a field of tall grass anytime any of us moved or rolled over. All in all we would stay there again; the hot tubs and sauna were lovely and the overall feel of the hotel is cozy.
