I’ve visited Banff many times for family trips and usually stay at a hotel a little farther from downtown, but I decided to book here this time for convenience. The location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were also quite comfortable, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the room. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been properly vacuumed or shampooed in some time, and the bathroom had visible dirt in several corners. When I used the shower, I also noticed a few loose hairs on the walls, which was unpleasant. If convenience and location are your priorities, this hotel does the job. But if you’re particular about cleanliness especially when traveling with kids I would recommend considering other options.

The view was limited and should not have paid extra for a view! No free bus passes available at hotel. Gave me misinformation on where to get bus stop to get to Gondala so had to pay for a taxi instead of $1 for bus
