The Otter is new and not fully open when we stayed, so I can’t comment on the gym or hot tub. Our room was clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good. We did find that as a new hotel a lot of the staff was still very inexperienced and figuring things out. They had a positive attitude though and figured out any issues in the restaurant, etc. it usually just took a little longer than you might expect elsewhere.

The property’s is new however the staff are well trained. They were all extremely friendly. Although our hot tub area was not ready, we were able to use the adjoining facilities at The Canoe and it was great.

Incredible stay we will be back! This hotel considers all of the little touches and from the minute we walked into the lobby we immediately fell in love with the cozy cabin feel. The rooms were clean and new, and we really appreciated the eco-friendly actions that were taken into consideration. You must stay here if visiting Banff!

A very nice hotel. Good Folk Restaurant very good. You need to provide a shuttle service to the main shops and dining locations. I know we caught it during a soft opening, but we did not appreciate that the fitness centre was not ready.
