The location of this hotel is the best! Right across from the main hub transit stop as well as inside the core of banff downtown. The staff are super pleasant and the restaurant on site is really good. The only con for this location was how old and stuffy the rooms felt. There was no exhaust in the bathroom and heating was limited.

Enjoyed our stay here. One complaint is that their underground parking facility is no good for trucks, max height is 6’1. This means you must find your own parking off property. They do not compensate for your out of pocket overnight parking and they do not provide you with a street parking permit as most of the streets surrounding this property require a permit to park. The street parking beside the property is limited to 15 minutes so this was not helpful either. Also the rooms run hot with no air, resorted to opening the window in minus 25c and since the hotel is right in the heart of Banff the noise level was quite high all throughout the night. Otherwise hotel has a great location, clean, friendly staff and a good earth attached to the hotel was a bonus.

Enjoyed the coffee in the room and the staff were nice about giving us extra pods and creamer. If you have a taller vehicle it won’t fit in the garage and there is limited surface parking.
