Good except for noticeable issues with maintenance and some odd omissions. Refrigerator, table, and 2 of 4 chairs all rocked back and forth. Window handles falling off. Provides an oven, but no baking pans or gloves. Dishwasher was a comical forest of directionless tines -- making loading the dishwasher a puzzle. Staff very nice, efficient check-in, etc...but there are basic maintenance issues not being addressed that need to be at these price points.

Good: room is large, kitchen has basic materials to cook in, room looks to be renovated, front desk staff nice, ease of parking Bad: price ($500 us avg/night) too high for basic room, shower has mold, sofa bed has stains and uncomfortable), interior doors don't close properly additional info: walk to town is steep and about 20 minutes, free ROAM bus stop is right in front but wait is 20-30 minutes and always crowded, need to temper expectation due to high price

5 minutes from town. Quiet. Shuttle stop adjacent. Outdoor playground and grill a bonus. Overall comfortable stay. Some aspects need attention: stainless steel pans/pots are a plus, but all black nylon utensils that melt on contact doesn't work. The room and bathroom door is misaligned so doesn't shut. Carpet isn't ideal for cleanliness. Laundry room only had 1 unit working. Pool inadequately heated.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is a bit far from downtown Banff but they provided free passes for Roam transit buses which was very convenient. The room seemed newly renovated, was spacious enough for the 4 of us, had a small kitchenette, and a balcony. Overall, an excellent experience. The only negatives I can think of are that there was no other mirror in the room besides the bathroom one and there was no hairdryer.
