The front desk employee is great beyond hospitality. Even the restaurant waitress is amazing , the property is clean well maintained. A little attention needed for the building from outside it looks old but on the inside is great . The uncomfortable situation with the cleaning ladies off course they counting on tips but if you not in the room the time they clean it they hold your card or shorting you some towels to make sure you come looking for them when you come back to the room and trust me it’s not about the value of the tip that you spare at least for a tourist it’s about coming from the heat out side to find your room is hot because they took the electric key with them. It’s not a coincidence I was traveling in Thailand for over a month I checked in the hotel 3 times during this visit and the same thing happened every time I’m not in the room. I hope this gets to management to be solved I really like the place and its convenient location.

Major Hazard. Please prevent an injury due to an uneven carpet just in front of the bedroom. The carpet is separating enough from the floor that I tripped twice. Otherwise, the Sir Stamford Hotel was one of the highlights of our brief stay in Sidney.

Wonderful staff and hotel

The amazing thing about Adelphi is really the staff. From the security guard, cafe attendant, reception staff and also housekeeping they are all amazing and so helpful. The hotel location is fantastic on soi 8 and hotel is clean and excellent.
