No power at the hotel on check in. 3 hrs to get in to the room. Area around the hotel is basically very industrial / rough. Hotel has vast amounts of staff but felt very much in need of a refurbishment.

Not touristy. You can really see real local people living and their food stalls. 7-11 is everywhere (we visited 2 out of 3 on that street.) They have free shuttle to and from the airport every 30 minutes, saving time and money. We also ised Grab app to go to and from shopping centers like Mega Bangna, Paradise Park, Seacon Square, etc. for grocery and food court and to Samrong for rail (skytrain) rides. No heckling needed. Try not to come in April or May, though. It's so hot.

A reasonably priced taxi fare from airport arrivals although quite long in peak traffic. Staff were wonderful and very helpful, especially in arranging an early shuttle back to the airport.

Excellent upscale hotel with quick and regular shuttles to BKK made this a great choice for our last day in Thailand. Highly recommended for a comfortable, clean and quiet stay. Hotel staff were excellent as was the concierge service at the airport.
