Good views from most rooms, breakfast area, and pool. We did not use the pool much though as the temperature was very cool and when there were rooftop breezes it became quite cool. We noticed the pool at the neighbouring hotel was much more comfortable (just a couple degrees can make a big difference). The price for beer (etc) at the pool was the highest we found in any of our hotels over 6 weeks and they did not allow outside food or drinks (this contributed to our lower use of the pool area). We noticed a lot of people buying beer for their rooms which speaks to high prices in hotel. We did not eat at the hotel once in our weeklong stay (not our norm…) Concierge was very helpful in helping us pack our larger souvenirs for travel (in particular Fha who went above and beyond). Desktop Mac was very convenient in the bar area. Bed was comfortable and room was pretty quiet. Missed having a balcony. Buffet items were not very warm and many items were same each day (could have more rotation) but did accommodate many ethnicities in breakfast food. Shuttle ferry ran punctually to their schedule.

Excellent hotel with great view, pool and breakfast. Service from staff was excellent. Not close to main sightseeing areas or public transport so need to use Grab. Shuttle boat service to ICONSIAM and BTS were a bonus.

Avani wsd a great stay by the Riverside in Bangkok. there is a small shopping mall in the bottom few floors and the amenities are great. The staff were super helpful and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a riverside hotel in Bangkok

The hotel is nice enough. It is clean, new and offers a fantastic complimentary shuttle boat service around the Chao Phraya River. However, that’s where the charm stops with Avani . The roof top pool is pleasant in the morning, but gets no sun past 1 PM. To make matters worse, the hotel only provides about 10 sun chairs. This makes the hotel’s most appealing facility an absolute zoo at about 11 AM. The gym is small, and has a very limited number of weights machines. In the morning, it was barely useable because of how over crowded the facility was. The breakfast was okay, but falls short of what you would expect from a nice hotel. The pastries were not fresh, the coffee was woeful and the eggs just never tasted right. The staff, however, were friendly and warm, and the ice cream bar was an unexpected touch. Overall, the hotel is okay! It’s staffed by a competent and friendly team, and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. However, we would probably look at different options in the future.

Great hotel, right on the river with great views of the city, it provides a ferry service to central pier to connect with the BTS & ferry services. Fantastic views from the pool on the 26th floor, breakfast was excellent.
