We thoroughly our stay at Ayathorn Bangkok, for four nights originally was supposed to be two nights but got extended due to visa issues for leaving to Vietnam. The Ayathorn Bangkok was a highlight of our trip as it was modern and very clean. We had booked this hotel last minute after checking into another hotel which was disgusting and outdated.

The property itself was nice, room was spacious, clean, modern. We just didn’t feel like we were able to walk around due to the construction all around the hotel. The staff was helpful with getting tuk tuk, taxi. Also providing recommendation for the floating markets. Very nice people.

We LOVED our stay, so much that we extended it by another night! The room we had was huge and overlooked the canal. The front desk staff were so helpful and the pool area staff friendly and kind. The location is perfect and I’d really recommend to anyone looking for a good location to choose this hotel. I’d love to come back soon!

Perfect for young families

Perfect for families! We stayed with 2 kids in a family room (king bed and twin single beds in a separate space with own internal door) which was really spacious. There is building work outside for new metro, our room was on that side but it didnt bother is much, you can hear but hotel provided ear plugs and kids so tired from travel we slept fine - the beds are SO comfy! Staff were lovely, buffet breakfast had good variety and also 6 different egg options they will make and bring to table. Pool is lovely and cool after a hot day in the city. We really loved this hotel, not the cheapest in Bangkok but worth the money as a family.

Great Location, Nice Hotel

We had a large family suite that was comfortable for our group of 4. We had an issue with the shower and the hotel was prompt in fixing that. The breakfast was lovely. The location is excellent for seeing the old part of Bangkok.

Fabulous 2 nights at the Ayathorn.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights while meeting my daughter for her birthday. The staff at the hotel were lovely and even left a birthday cake in our room and decorated it in readiness for our arrival. The hotel is fabulous- great location, lovely roof top pool. I would thoroughly recommend.

It’s pretty new. The rooms are as in photos = good. Plastic capsule shower units are disappointing. Great location once the subway is completed - until then access is v slow, lobby is v noisy from the construction across the road that runs from 7am to 10pm. The front desk only operates 7am to 9pm … 14 hours is enough for them … but this sort of hotel needs staff after 9pm other than the security guy outside obviously

Great boutique hotel that is relatively close to the historic sites in Bangkok such as the Grand Palace. Not sure its walking distance to anything because Bangkok is a big city and generally hard to get around due to traffic but you can easily book a Grab or tuk tuk. Loved the quiet rooftop pool and bar for end of day! Rooms/bed comfortable and spacious. Laundry service too was very good.

What a wonderful haven in this big city! Rooms very comfortable and outstanding breakfast. Staff so helpful and kind. The rooftop pool was the perfect escape after a hot and tiring day of site seeing. Walk to dinner or to the Kao Shan street market. Easy to catch a Tuk tuk to go anywhere

Great hotel but a lot of noise due to construction. It did not trouble us for sleeping but we avoided the rooftop pool. The room is spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable.

This hotel was fantastic. It’s location was perfect for what we were looking for. It’s nowhere near the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, close to the subway line that takes you to anyplace you need to go, and within walking distance to all the big temple attractions in the old town area. The staff was very friendly and helpful to whatever we needed. I highly recommend getting the included breakfast because breakfast in Bangkok doesn’t really exist in many places. The breakfast is amazing. Tons of options for anybody. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and never had anybody in it. We made good friends with the guy that ran the bar up there, his name was Dim. Gave us tons of good local spots to eat at and recommended so many great things. We all went out to Chinatown on our last night in town and ate the most unbelievable street food of the trip. I cannot recommend the hotel any higher. If you are looking for a quiet spot where you can get some good rest, and still be easily within reach of all the big things to do, stay here. Was a trip we will never forget.

Location was great however there is a 5 year construction project in progress right outside the front door. We were in a back of hotel room so not really impacted. No AC in corridors of the floors so a little warm at times. Coffee shop in the hotel foyer was extremely good and would recommend the ice latte.
