Our stay at Embassy Suites was wonderful. The room had been updated beautifully since our last visit before COVID. We appreciated the separate living room and television, as well as the microwave for heating food for our dog, Dunphy. The atrium area has been converted into a restaurant and living room area, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Stone 31. The hotel's location is excellent, with many nearby restaurants, a supermarket, and the Apex Entertainment center. Breakfast was great, with a variety of hot and cold food, including a cook-to-order egg station. Our morning waitress, Supark, was excellent. Christ, the manager, was amazing . He helped me with check-in. He even provided a food bowl for Dunphy when I forgot mine. His dedication to his work was evident when he helped serve food and clear tables during my dinner at Stone 31. Embassy Suites is lucky to have him. The small swimming pool was a nice touch. We will definitely return.

The hotel room was very comfortable with strong aircon. The traffic was a bit loud but fine overnight. I liked the French style cafe downstairs. I enjoyed my stay.

I don't really recommend this hotel. The temperature of the bath water was not stable, sometimes it was very hot, sometimes it was so cold. And I also suffer one water outage during 2-days stay, although it was only about 15 to 20 minutes. The good thing is, this hotel was near Chinatown and Iconsiam.

It's the second time I booked this hotel. It maintains the same as before overall, and the only change is the way of serving breakfast. It used to be buffet style, now it's like a la carte.

The Oriental Heritage Residence was a fantastic stay in Bangkok! The staff, especially Betty, were exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel is located close to ICONSIAM from Pier Bangkak (a 3-mn boat ride for 6 baht) behind the Post Office. ICONSIAM offered amazing shopping, food and entertainment options. From the hotel, Chinatown is easily accessible on foot; Betty gave us clear directions. But here's a hidden gem I discovered: Ma's Roast, a fantastic Chinese/Hongkongers restaurant down the street. Make sure to try it out for some incredible food! The owners are fantastic as well.

The hotel offers great value for money, especially for solo travelers. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and divided into two parts by a curtain: the bed area, and the bathroom with a WC area. The bed was comfortable. However, as some guests have mentioned in their reviews the shower had some issues. I found it impossible to adjust the water temperature, and it was either too hot or too cold. When I brought this up during check-out, the staff informed me that there was a switch to adjust the temperature hidden somewhere, but it was too late for me to try it. If you need extra workspace, you can visit the brand-new Starbucks located inside the postal office building next to the hotel. Additionally, the Icon Siam shopping mall is within walking distance, but you'll need to take the shuttle boat by the river to get there (which is fun).

The location was good with many things to see and do nearby and walking distance. We got a room facing away from the Main Street and it was quiet. Staff were great and very helpful. The room was fine except no closet or luggage rack. The bathroom is unique and drapery separates it from the bedroom area. Be sure not to dirty linens or break anything; they have a long list of items you’ll be charged for. We enjoyed our stay and the reasonably priced stay.

The only one I like was the kind staff. Everything else was closer to a plain Inn rather than a hotel. The worst thing was the shower water. Pressure wasn't good enough and, even worse, it was impossible to adjust temperature of water. Too hot or too cold.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location looked a bit dodgy when we arrived late at night, but it turns out that it is safe and conveniently located. The room is nicely appointed, but no frills. Firm and super comfy bed as well! Shower water temp required some attention to keep warm, but it was manageable and no big deal at all. Definitely recommend!
