Worth having a room overlooking the Penobscot Narrows Bridge.
Very limited choice of restaurants in Bucksport, and if you're staying at the weekend or a holiday, make a dinner reservation before your trip.
Check in was easy. Beautiful view from the room. Beds comfortable and rooms quiet. The shower was wonderful!!
Would love to see a better supply/brand of coffee and toiletries and maybe some bottled water.
This was a handy place to be during the Fall. We were close enough to Acadia to drive over for a day of seeing the park, and far enough away to be more economical. Even though they did not serve breakfast, we had instant oatmeal with us that filled the gap.
Very nice. With a view of the bridge ; especially at night.

Hotel room was very dated. The a/c was very noisy and only did an ok job of cooling the room. The staff was not very friendly and the local dining options were awful. Same your money and drive to the next town sorry but do not recommend this hotel for the prices they charge!
This was a very old property. Okay to spend one night in but for the price I would expect more comfort. We had to sleep on the bed upside down because it sloped toward the wall. The mattresses have not been changed out in a very long time. The pillows were very uncomfortable.
Wonderful view. Super comfy loved the stores near the area.

Hotel has very dated furnishings and A/C. The view is beautiful but would not stay here again with the rates they charge. The town also has very limited dining options.
Limited choice and number of restaurants nearby - arrived on a Saturday evening and (because there were no tables for quite some time) ended up with a rotisserie chicken and salad in our room.
Excellent value. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were dreamy. The view of Fort Knox and the bridge were unbelievable. There were lots of great restaurants and convenience stores/grocery stores in walking distance. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is older, but very well maintained. My only word of his advice is to bring toiletries cause not much was provided. I will definitely come back.
