Dog friendly; comfortable hotel

This is the second time that I have stayed in this hotel on my trip to the Orono Bangor region. The hotel is great, service is terrific, great location. The beds are comfortable. Both times I've stayed, we've ordered food from the restaurant downstairs and it was pretty good. Plus they allow pets, and the staff and guests are great with my dog.

Staff was great, front desk and bar. Property has a nice restaurant so we didn't have to leave as this was just a stop for the night. Room was nice and quite even though the highway is very close. All and all makes me wonder why I am a Marriott Elite member......

Nice stay

This is a ver nice hotel, definitely my favorite in Bangor (and I've tried several). Very helpful staff, clean, well appointed and has a nice restaurant and bar. Also a very nice pool and hot tub area. The two issues I had are 1) the water pressure in our shower during our most recent stay was pretty bad. I always look forward to a nice shower after a long day of traveling and this was disappointing. 2) the hot tub water was not nearly hot enough. Maybe these two things wouldn't bother others, but for me a nice shower and a relaxing hot tub are important to me in picking a hotel.
