The hotel has a nice location near a lake that's spacious with places to walk around. We didn't get to walk to the lake, but the room had a balcony with a nice view. The stay was relaxing, and the staff was very friendly. The dining area in the main building was large with a lot of tables. The breakfast had nice house made pastries. We would have liked more hot breakfast options, but overall it was good.

A wonderful, quiet place just a couple of miles north of Acadia NP and not just a paradise for golfers. Unfortunately, their restaurant is closed on Mondays, but the staff at reception gave us a couple of useful hints. Breakfast was amazing and the view from the deck is breathtaking! Will be back on our next visit!

Beautiful property, quaint, relaxing atmosphere, wish we could have stayed longer than the one night our trip allowed. Breakfast a little unusual if you're used to the chain hotels continental breakfasts, for example hot items were self-serve microwaved, but rest of the items were the usual. No complaints. Recommended.

We stayed only a matter of hours, so I can't say much. The weather was drizzly, and we could not sit on the deck to eat breakfast. That would have been nice.

Beautiful old hotel in a beautiful scenic area of Maine. Very close to Acadia National Park. Park Ranger told us it was haunted, but we had a peaceful, ghost-free experience. Kids took a morning swim in the well-maintained outdoor pool. Breakfast was just grab and go style. 10/10

This small, historic building was a refreshing change from all the corporate-owned lodgings. The staff were very friendly and helpful (including the two welcoming dogs who functioned as greeters). The winter salad and blueberry pie were phenomenal!

It’s an older property. The floors, walls and beds are creaking. Photos make it look like it’s surrounded by a lot of green space but it sits right off the highway with a golf course in the back. Quite a bit of street noise.
