We chose the Lucerne Inn for our visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. Although it was a good 30 minutes away, the drive was well worth it. The property is just gorgeous, both outside and in. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. And the price for the room is very reasonable considering what you get. Highly recommend.

The inn was very clean and the staff very helpful. Food was well prepared, and the continental breakfast was great. The outdoor flowers were the best. Kudos's to the gentleman who was responsible for them.

Historic property with easy access to Bangor National Airport and Acadia National Park and surrounding harbor area. The wedding I attended was beautiful and the staff did an excellent job preparing and serving guests. Very impressed by their hospitality.

Everything is ok with the room as far as cleanliness etc. We were not made aware of a wedding on the property until we arrived and it is literally on the other side of the window. I feel like Im in the DJs lap. We have been assured that music will end by 10pm. There were also stairs that would make this room inaccessible for some.

This was a really cute spot to stay in on our anniversary trip to Bar Harbor. The room had everything we needed. The view was great! It is a decent distance from Bar Harbor so an easy drive into town with lots of cool spots to check out along the way. Quick drive into Bangor as well. Everything was really clean and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating! Gorgeous property.

I enjoyed this place. I think the word for it is charming, maybe quaint. The owners have put a lot into it. The morning staff was grumpy while the evening staff were mostly charming. But in their defense, a lot of the morning staff was also the evening staff!

The hotel was beautiful both inside and out. My husband and I travel a lot around the world and in the US but we have never been put to sleep in basement rooms and on top of that the website says there is breakfast but in fact there was no breakfast I do not recommend going there

Haunted property with unexplained events happening. Room 8 is supposed to be haunted. The dining room is one spot paranormal investigators monitor activities. During the night an unusual force pushed a guest from the bed to the floor. Haunted Lucerne Inn is For Sale.

First night I found the bed was lumpy and made alot of noise with every movements, I requested another room which they accommodated me but was told all beds bought same time and probably would be the same, bed was fine for the remaining 3 nights although smaller then a queen, was alittle hard to get use to.The continental breakfast was frozen jimmy dean sandwich in a plastic wrap to be microwave, cantaloupe, and box cereal. Coffee was very good.That was ok for one day but the rest of stay we went out for breakfast. It was odd to walk through dining room with your luggage to go to our room. Very quite place. Staff and owners very nice and pleasant , except for bartender who wanted to go home at 8:00 pm. Apparently he had a long day. We would probably not stay there again
