The property was in a great location, about a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The only thing is we came back late one night from dinner and had no parking as spots in front of office were reserved but the staff assisted us and created a spot next to the steps.

Location, Location, Location. Loved the fact that you had a 5-minute walk to shuttles and downtown Bar Harbor. The accommodations are basic, a bed, TV and a shower. But, if you're like me, you are rarely there only to sleep, and there is so much to do outdoors. Room was clean and staff was very friendly

This was a great option! Centrally located, and walkable to everything that Bar Harbor has to offer a quick car ride to Acadia Park, CLEAN, with a great staff. The only issue we had was that there were not blackout curtains, and there was a very bright street light shining directly into the window, lighting everything up And making it a bit difficult to sleep. Not the end of the world for sure.

This hotel is simple and clean, it worked perfectly for our stay in Bar Harbor. It is in a wonderful location, we didn't use our car for 2 whole days as we could walk everywhere we wanted to go!

Great location and service

Very convenient location with only a 10 minute walk to the center of Bar Harbor. Daily cleaning which hasn’t been true at any other hotel we’ve been to.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very new, large and comfortable. The location was perfect for viewing the parade that went right by the hotel and we got to use the hotel lawn chairs.

It was one of the nicer motels I’ve stayed at. The location was PERFECT to downtown. The ladies at the reception were very nice (Michelle helped us during our stay and was very accommodating to what we needed). The previous reviews mentioned the walls being thin, and while we could hear people in the room next to us talking/moving around, it’s not like you could hear their actual conversations. We would totally stay here again the next time we’re in Bar Harbor!

Great spot

Anchorage Motel was a solid choice for staying in Bar Harbor. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the front office staff were very helpful. The location was great-easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants in town.

The staff were lovely especially Suzie who gave us good recommendations for local eats and kid-friendly Acadia hikes. Walk to town, good coffee at the front desk.
