Simple hotel off main road. Across ferry harbor to Nova Scotia. Very convenient. Basic accommodation and amenities. Helpful and friendly staff. Very polite and courteous. A few minutes to Bar Harbor center to the south, and to lobster and other restaurants to the north.

The reception staff were indifferent and unhelpful, with no suggestions for things to do or even where to park downtown. The trainee from Bulgaria was an exception. When I made the reservation on Expedia, the breakfast was listed as a "full breakfast", but the hotel provides only a continental breakfast.

Nice views. Having the breakfast stuff was nice. Our door was very hard to open. Doesn't fit , it sticks so that was a problem. It made alot of noise opening and closing it. Bathroom door same thing. 😕

There was no breakfast our first morning there. In fact, there wasn't even anyone at the desk to ask about it. The manager did visit us later to try to make things right. But it was too little too late. The rooms were small but clean. The AC worked well enough but the days we were there were cool. The shower was good enough. Decent water pressure. And the proximity to the Village Center was good. All in all I would say it was worth what we paid.

AC did not work. Bathroom was recently renovated and pretty decent but the room was grungy with cobwebs, patched up walls, dirty chairs, and a door that that did not seal. Very very noisy. Staff was unfriendly. Breakfast was pathetic. Housekeeping only came once with a 4 night stay. The beds were comfortable though.
