The room was stinky. The carpets felt like they have never been cleaned before. Bathrooms were terrible. Cramped and lacked ventilation. Everything is dated and requires a overhaul.

The breakfast was free, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal,Jimmy dean sausage sandwich and breakfast bars were great. The walls in the room need a good cleaning or repainted on the inside. The cob webs near the floor by the bed were awful. There was black mold on the walls. Carpets need to be replaced. The broken window in the bathroom washeld together with tape that had bugs stuck tout. The air conditioning was very good. Beds were comfortable.

The property was very old, they didn’t clean our room, the door of the room cannot open well, the breakfast wasn’t good, and the price was super high for what that you get. The only good thing was the walking distance to the city.

Average hotel in a great location

Great location, walkable to downtown Bar Harbor (20minute walk). Below average comfort/rundown hotel for the cost but you are paying for the location. Also only a 5 minute drive to Acadia National Park which was outstanding!

Moist stay by the bay..

I understand it is tourist season,but the price we paid was outrageous for the quality. Room carpet was moist, room was damp and smelly. Tv and overloaded wall outlets didn't work. No parking was available and we had to park in another hotel lot-this was not advertised. We also had roaches on the ceiling! It is obvious they don't want repeat business...

Its your basic hotel, but it was clean easy access to everything. Breakfast was your basic continental breakfast and you have a view of the water across the street if you sit in the parking lot in the chairs outside your room. Its a basic outside entrance only hotel.

Good location to park and friendly staff

Stayed here for three nights while exploring the area with my spouse’s parents. This is a solid place to stay if you want a place to stay close to Acadia but not deal with the downtown Bar Harbor traffic and parking and pricing. Also if you don’t want to venture out for breakfast you have the minimal options here included but something to tie you over until you grab some lobster. Also the coffee wasn’t that bad as they had a machine. Some older/outdated decor but it was clean and was a good place to stay. And the staff were friendly!
Bathroom - plenty of counter space to ge ready in the morning
Main room with a little sliver of view of the bay to remind you that you are on the coast.

Excellent location to easily access Acadia and Bar Harbor. We rode our bikes into Bar Harbor for dinner every evening. The staff is wonderful and our room very comfortable.
