Welcoming staff, clean rooms, easy parking outside of room, convenient to catch the free Island Express shuttle to go anywhere on the island including Acadia. Also, close to Acadia entrance, and Village Green at Bar Harbor with dining and shopping.

Seems like it was recently renovated. It's an old property but is quite suitable. The staff are great. The manager took extra time to give us information about public transportation and gave up additional pointers on Bar Harbor.

We killed a roach in the bathroom we found toenail clippings on the side of the bed. The floor squeaked when you walk. It sounded like they were building something new next-door.

It was conveniently located with easy walk or bus to town. We had a couple with kids in the room above us and the kids were allowed to run back and forth constantly above us stomping on the floor for the entire time that they were in their room. Hotel management would not do anything about the issues and did not have another room to offer us.
