We had an amazing vacation, the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, after two days they already knew us. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. We’re definitely returning next summer

Fantastic hotel! Recently went thru a renovation so everything is new. The property itself was clean and in a good location near Bar Harbor downtown and Acadia NP. No negatives whatsoever.

Comfortable stay close to Bar Harbor

It was still under renovation (also changing over from a Regency to the Holiday Inn) when we were there so it was messy, had a lot of areas closed off and not functioning, and random work equipment everywhere. We didn’t even have a typical free coffee station for the first two days there… Also, another guest must have been smoking Pot and our halfway wreaked of it. I reported the smell and to their credit, they did come and use some air fresheners. But I expect security to be more on top of that violation. Otherwise, staff was nice and attentive. Our stay was comfortable. The pool area and hot tub were highlights. I can see it’ll look nice when completed, but not yet during our stay…

Loved this property but they are doing massive renovations which had not been mentioned at all in the listing. Very loud all day long and tools + materials everywhere. I imagine it’ll be stunning once everything is finished but the renovations should’ve been disclosed. Room was a little dirty, stained linens etc. Walls paper thin. But you can’t beat the stunning location. Staff was amazing.

Property is in a great location near Bar Harbor and National Arcadia Park. They charged a daily Resort Fee and they were remodeling so many unavailable areas. They shouldn’t charge that fee to us while they are remodeling.

It’s under refurbishment, so some areas were still under construction. We didn’t hear any noise for the construction at all. Our room was nicely redecorated and the view was lovely.

This property was under construction. There was no advance warning and they charged $500 per night. Over priced and under performing best describes the start. I understand the need to refurbish the property but a heads up would have been nice.

The hotel is currently under renovations, but they’ve done all the things to make the stay as comfortable as possible. It was pouring rain when we arrived and with the construction you can’t pull right up to the door to unload and a lovely young man offered us umbrellas and assistance while we unloaded our luggage. There were complimentary snacks upon arrival. Everything is new and clean. It all smelled fresh. Our room was superb with an amazing view. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and it was stocked with Dove shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Housekeeping came by daily to refresh our towels and tidy our room. The hotel was only a 5 minute drive from downtown Bar Harbor and dining. I’d definitely stay here again!
