The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, which made for a pleasant enough stay. Everything worked as expected, and the service was polite and helpful. That said, the hotel itself was pretty basic — no standout features or amenities that made it memorable. Overall, it’s fine if you just need a clean place to sleep, but don’t expect anything beyond the basics.

For an older Hotel/Motel very well kept. A bit noisy if you are on 1st floor. Wood structure, you hear the people above you! stay on second floor. Overall area is very safe, and beautyful. PS. Disappointed with the seafood market. It is not commercial like the pictures. Very small and not stocked like a true seafood market. It was true in the old days, not anymore!

Wonderful place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and updated and the room was serviced daily. Very close to the harbor and the downtown was walkable for ice cream in the evening. Good accessablility to Acadia.

We had a beautiful stay and were able to see the changing of the colors of the leaves. The staff were incredible. My only request would be that they had real creamer rather than powdered creamer for the coffee. I highly recommend the Kimball Terrace and will definitely like to be back in the spring.

It was very quiet place with beautiful view of marina. It was walkable to Main Street where we rented e-bikes and went to dinner 2 nights. Very safe area.

This was a great place to stay for our visit to Acadia--much quieter & more peaceful than Bar Harbor. It's an older place that's been refurbished, but it's very clean. Unfortunately our room was next to the restaurant which stayed open late for a rowdy group, thus wasn't as quiet as we had hoped. But we would definitely stay here again.
